Walnut Creek Digest is a free local newsletter about the community we grew up in, sent twice a week. Every issue covers what’s actually happening in town: events worth changing your evening for, new restaurants and openings, the Lesher and the Bedford, and the occasional bit of local history nobody questions anymore.
Small businesses get the most room. We feature the shops on Main and Locust and the people who run them, because the places that make Walnut Creek feel like Walnut Creek rarely have an ad budget, and they deserve an audience anyway.
We cover downtown out to Rossmoor, Shadelands, Saranap and Tice Valley. No crime blotter, no council fights, nothing you have to brace yourself for.
